Boy Scout Troop 148 is located in beautiful Temecula, California, in the Tahquitz District of the California Inland Empire Council. We are chartered by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4089, in Temecula, California.

We target at least one overnight event each month. Traditional backpacking and regular horizon-expanding events such as aviation, canoeing, cycling, local and wilderness camping are highlighted, promoting teamwork and leadership, as well as individual skills.

Webelos Woods Staff

If you are First Class or higher and would like to staff Webelos Woods sign up on our webpage and get approval from Mr. Hays. As of now we can take 8 Scouts and 3 Scouters.

Rifle Shooting

If you would like to participate in Rifle Shooting it's time to get signed up. If you already have the merit badge you can shoot the NRA Course.  We currently have 5 open slots so join in on the shooting.

Troop Meeting

This is our last summer meeting at Wolf Creek Park so let's have a great time.  Get your summer merit badge Blue Cards turned in once you have it signed off.  Our Court of Honor will be on September 21st at St. Thomas.

Honor Guard for 9/11 Ceremony

The City of Temecula has again requested we perform opening flag duties at the September 11th Remembrance at the Temecula Duck Pond. This is a great honor!

Camp Chillaxification is Back

It's back by popular scout demand - Camp Chillaxification - delayed since March of 2020 - back in September of 2021

Come hangout under the favorite Oak Tree Campsite with your patrol and troop buddies.  Camp includes the traditional Friday Night Fried Chicken Dinner, and Patrol Meals Saturday and Sunday Morning.

Saturday Night will be a Dutch Oven Cook-off contest between the patrols.

If the pool is open we will also be swimming and having some fun.
