Boy Scout Troop 148 is located in beautiful Temecula, California, in the Tahquitz District of the California Inland Empire Council. We are chartered by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4089, in Temecula, California.

We target at least one overnight event each month. Traditional backpacking and regular horizon-expanding events such as aviation, canoeing, cycling, local and wilderness camping are highlighted, promoting teamwork and leadership, as well as individual skills.

Summer Camp Meeting

We will be having a MANDATORY Summer Camp parent meeting this Tuesday 7:00pm at Wolf Creek Park. All medical forms Part A, B and C should have already been turned into Jenifer Andersen or Marisol Moya.  All Merit Badge request should have already been turned into Jenifer Andersen.  

Summer Troop Meeting

Summer meetings will continue at Wolf Creek Park this Tuesday from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.  Please bring your Scout Books, Merit Badge materials and a smile.  Remember to always use the Buddy System.  For all scouts working towards First Class consider fullfilling First Class Requirement 10 prior to this weeks meeting.  Follow up by talking with a Scoutmaster.

4th of July Parade

Please sign up on iur website to march in the upcoming Temecula 4th of July parade.
Scouts and leaders will wear Class A. Plan to arrive by 9:00am. Sign up and complete a waiver and turn it into Mr. Bowden. Waivers can be found at http://www.mightytq.com/ 

Patrol Box Inventory

Quartermasters-Please do a complete inventory of your patrol boxes and bring them to our next meeting. We will do a patrol box shakedown to make sure they are 100% ready to go for summer camp. 

Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC) August 9th

PLC this coming Tuesday from 6-7pm at Wolf Creek Park. 
All of Troop 148's youth leadership should be present and bring ideas for next years summer camp, monthly outing ideas to include locations, merit badges that they would like to work on, etc.  Ask the group you represent for ideas that you can present to the group.
