Boy Scout Troop 148 is located in beautiful Temecula, California, in the Tahquitz District of the California Inland Empire Council. We are chartered by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4089, in Temecula, California.

We target at least one overnight event each month. Traditional backpacking and regular horizon-expanding events such as aviation, canoeing, cycling, local and wilderness camping are highlighted, promoting teamwork and leadership, as well as individual skills.

Emerald Bay in 2021

Mr. Sizemore was able to secure on of the most popular weeks at Emerald Bay in 2021. Registration is now open if you wish to join us at one of the most desired summer camps on the west coast.   Online payments aren’t now available if you would like to get started. The troop has payment deadlines with Emerald Bay With our final payment due by March 5,2021.  The troop has numerous payments prior to this date as well.

A big THANK YOU to the adults who joined the Annual Planning Meeting. The Troop has a plan moving forward for Quarantine and regular Scouting activities once we are permitted. Please be understanding and flexible as restriction change. If anyone needs anything please don’t hesitate to ask for assistance.

Our annual planning meeting for adults will be on August 2nd at 2pm.  The Youth Patrol Leaders Council has met and brought forward their ideas.  Lets put the plan into action and support what our scouts want to do for the 2020-2021 Scouting year.  We look forward to having all of our adults participate and take on a little of the work in order to support our scouts adventures.

The youth will be holding their Annual Planning Meeting on July 14th at 7pm.  Who needs to be in attendance?  Senior Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leaders, Patrol Leaders, Scribe Chief, Quartermaster Chief, Troop Guide Director, Historian Chief, Librarian Chief, Chaplain Aide Director, Leave No Trace Instructor and OA Representative.
