We target at least one overnight event each month. Traditional backpacking and regular horizon-expanding events such as aviation, canoeing, cycling, local and wilderness camping are highlighted, promoting teamwork and leadership, as well as individual skills.

Court of Honor/Camping Update

Posted by jhays on Mar 13 2020 - 11:43am

I know everyone is concerned with the ongoing Corona Virus and we should all remain reasonable and prudent.  Many of us have been or will be exposed to the virus and show little or no signs of illness.  However, with the “New Corona Virus” there is a potential for a super-infection in some people which has concerned many professionals.

With that said, we have been asked to not hold any social meetings for the next couple weeks in hopes to slow the spread of the virus in the community.

We are postponing our March 17th Court of Honor, Camp Chillaxification and March 25thPatrol Meetings.

Please take this time to work at home on rank requirements, a partial merit badge or Eagle Scout Project Books, etc.  If you complete work on a merit badge email the information to your Merit Badge Counselor (cc another adult) and get it done. We would love to see everyone make progress even as we take a few weeks away from our regular activities.

We should all remember to not panic and enjoy each day as it is presented.
