Boy Scout Troop 148 is located in beautiful Temecula, California, in the Tahquitz District of the California Inland Empire Council. We are chartered by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #4089, in Temecula, California.

We target at least one overnight event each month. Traditional backpacking and regular horizon-expanding events such as aviation, canoeing, cycling, local and wilderness camping are highlighted, promoting teamwork and leadership, as well as individual skills.

Camp Chillaxification

Patrol Leaders' Council (PLC)

All Patrol Leaders and scouts in Troop leadership positions must be present.  A representative from each troop position needs to be in attendance.  It is the responsibility of the Chief position holder to be at the PLC unless he is unable to make it and deligates his assistant to attend.

2020 Summer Camp - Emerald Bay!!!

Troop 148 is returning to Camp Emerald Bay in 2020!!!  The target week is 6/28/2020 through 7/4/2020. So we can make our initial reservation this week at the troop meeting there will be an interest sign-up list so a reservation can be made.  Emerald Bay is a camp that no scout should miss.  The last time the Troop was at Emerald Bay was 2016, so there should be a bunch of scouts ready to go!
Estimated cost is $ 725.00 dollars per scout and $ 575.00 per adult and a payment plan will be available.

Blue Cards and Scoutmaster Conferences

Completed Blue Cards and Scoutmaster Conferences need to be turned in/completed by March 3rd for the March 17th Court of Honor. Please get in your request for a Scoutmaster Conference ASAP To allow enough time to schedule. 

Eagle Court of Honors

We have a couple of Eagle Scout Court of Honors coming up. We should all attend and honor these Eagle Scouts for all of their accomplishments.  Make sure to get signed up so the families know how they can best prepare. 

Adult Leader Meeting
